Teleroute, heart of the road transport industry, has unveiled
the latest version of Teleroute Pro, the web interface used to
access its pan-European freight exchange. By upgrading to
Teleroute Pro 1.5, freight professionals across the continent
can now access an array of new features that greatly improve
their efficiency and bring new opportunities. Alongside
performance enhancements, Teleroute Pro 1.5 includes a highly
improved search function, a unique map based search, and greatly
improved functionality in the Freight and Vehicle Matching
functionality.
Search and Search Agents By inputting minimal search criteria,
the Teleroute Pro system will now filter offers as they are
posted and direct them to the user using their preferred media -
whether that be SMS, Email or directly to the Teleroute Pro web
interface. However received, users only pay if they decide to
see the full offer including contact information, known in the
system as 'unfolding'.
New map based search and direct access to a Maut Calculator
Teleroute Pro 1.5 also offers users the ability to compare
available freight directly on a map. Using this tool avoids the
need for planners to consult offline maps or other tools and so
increases planning efficiency. Also included is access to a Maut
Calculator, a feature unique to Teleroute, which gives transport
companies fast and easy access to the information they need when
transporting freight on German roads and motorways.
Enhanced Matching functionality Although available since
Teleroute Pro 1.4, version 1.5 offers major enhancements to the
Freight and Vehicle Matching function. Through this tool,
searches are automatically converted into vehicle offerings at
no cost to the user. The updated Matching in Teleroute Pro 1.5
adds even more powerful matching functionality. A user can now
at any time check if there are matching vehicles by clicking on
the matching button. Additionally, when freight is deposited
into the system, the user instantly receives notification of
available capacity that matches their needs, with the first two
capacity consultations given free of charge.
Teleroute News Service In conjunction with the launch of
Teleroute Pro 1.5, Teleroute is also launching a new service
designed to help freight professionals meet the ever-increasing
challenges faced in the road transport market, Offered on
request to any Teleroute Pro subscriber, a new newsletter will
detail information on traffic limitations in each country across
Europe, including countries/regions concerned, type of trucks
and type of roads to which the limits apply. Teleroute users
will find that via their inbox they now have access to
information that they need.
As from November 25, 2005 Teleroute Pro 1.5 and the Teleroute
limitation news service are available to all users.
