E Business Items For Emergency Survival

Have you considered your emergency evacuation needs? Do you have

an "emergency survival kit"?

For the past six months or so, local and network TV as well as

local radio and newspaper have all stressed the need for an

emergency survival kit. After watching all those millions of

people in Florida and along the entire Gulf Coast of the US, I

can fully understand why the need for considering what would be

needed for survival is receiving so must attention.

Many of the people that evacuated were able to return home and

find little or no damage. Unfortunately, many of those who did

return home found nothing. Everything they had either completely

gone or so heavily damaged it may as well have been gone sparing

the owner the misery of seeing the devastation of their life

long work.

When people evacuate, they have a tendency to overlook their

computer area, concentrating instead of what is needed for

immediate survival. That is normal under the circumstances.

But there are considerations one should take long before a

situation creates the need to evacuate especially if you use

your computer for an at home business.

A work at home individual or family has a considerable amount of

to sign up....

dollars invested in computer equipment and software. This wise

person of course has routinely made backup copies of all their

software and the data that software has created on their

computer, right?

Wrong!

I would guess that less than 5% of computer users have a backup

of their software and even less a backup of the data on their

computers.

If you are one of the smart individuals who has build n Internet

Income, you need to plan for an emergency evacuation and

possible loss of all you have at home.

1. You need a copy or the originals of all software installed on

your computer system. 2. You need a copy of all your important

data. Data such as email address book, Finances, membership

lists with account info and any other data you rely on for

day-to-day operations of your business. 3. You will need all

your data required for gaining access to and maintaining your

web sites and any scripts you have installed on them. 4. You

need all of these items in an easy to grab and run container!

By completing the above steps you are guaranteed the survival of

you're at home income with little interruption when you finally

get back home.

If you arrive home and there is nothing there, you will at least

have everything you need to get started again. Everything needed

that is but a computer.

My dear reader, the needed computer system is a lot less expense

than the software you have saved which was installed on the

computer that does not exist now.

Grab a new computer, install your programs and import your data

files into their appropriate program. Find an Internet

connection and your back in business and generating an income.

I saw today, 11/10/05, where the unemployment claims for just

hurricane Wilma is now at 326000 unfortunate people (CNN).

If you do not prepare for your at home E Business survival, you

stand a good chance to join the unemployment lines after the

next emergency comes up.
