eBook Reviews

For each ebook review, I paraphrase the central

ideas of each author as best as I can. (Note to Authors: Please

don't shoot me

as I may butcher your ideas.)

"Millions at the Kitchen Table"

"How to Get 10 Paychecks Automatic"

"33 Days to Online Profits"

"$6 by Six Million" website

If you are new to the internet, here's your plan:

- Set your goals

- Set-up your Website

- Promote a Product or Service

- Give your website a chance to be established

- Keep your advertising budget as low as possible

- Find out what works and what doesn't work

- Focus your advertising only on what sells

- Modify your plans as needed

- Keep learning and adapting as needed

- Start out with the basics.

"Millions at the Kitchen Table" written by Jason Ryan Isaksen.

It's four chapters of easy reading. Millions at the Kitchen

Table spells out what works for him, what does not work

and why. This book is a good primer to understand who he is and

what specific programs he thinks highly of.

Best Quote from "Millions at the Kitchen Table":

"When you try to close a sale or ask for a sale right inside

your ad, you're doing what is called "One Step Advertising.

This method doesn't work very well and I'd avoid it at all

costs. It may look easier, but you'll just have to trust me

and all my years of testing when I tell you that it's

non-effective."

If it's time to modify your marketing plan, here you go. When I

saw the title, I just had to read it.

Millions (that right) Millions at the Kitchen Table

(Ok, so call me Wacky)

"How to get 10 Paychecks Online" is another ebook / program

written by Jason Ryan Isaksen.

(Don't worry, not all books reviewed on my website are by

the same author.)

What I like about this book is that this book has 6 chapters

and throughout the first four chapters he is not trying

to sell you anything. He is explaining online marketing and home

business ideas and makes you want to continue reading on chapter

after chapter. (Doesn't that sound Captivating)

I wanted to relay three important Pearls Of Wisdom from this

book.

P.O.W. #1 is the value of diversification. You want to find or

buy or sell or create several products and use several different

forms of advertising to market them. (Or for you "Got to Have it

Now"

people, you can always sell his program. Hint Hint)

P.O.W #2 is an detailed explanation of several forms of

traditional marketing and the pro and cons of each.

P.O.W. #3 The book uses an example of the Gold Rush in

California. Would you rather sell shovels to the Gold Miners or

be one of the thousands trying to get lucky and strike it

rich after several years of hard labor. The translation is that

there are alot more people spending money on the internet who

are trying to strike it rich and those are the customers you need

to market to. Another way to explain it is like this " Would you

a...

rather sell one product to thousands of customers or would you

rather

have a stream of steady income from hundreds of customers? "

(What did I just write. I'm confusing myself now.)

The underlying assumption is that it's easy to drive thousands

of people to your website; but its hard to get a high percentage

of people to buy. Therefore, each person thats buy from

you is your most valuable source for selling your additional

products and services.

Now with that thought in mind, selling this ebook is not the

primary

goal of it's marketing plan. Becoming a reseller and developing

your own affiliates is the essence of the plan. The plan

develops relationships with 10 advertisers with a fixed monthly

budget for

driving mega-traffic to you.

(Your adversting budget if you follow his advice is from $10 per

month

to $150 per month. The more the merrier. )

This plan is aggressive and fast moving and designed to

drive truck loads of traffic to your site. Stick to your

advertising budget.

This book does not want you to waste all your money on

pay per click or waste your time trying to stay at the top of the

search engines.

(The key is diversification. An example of a couple of the

advertising

methods are through "Traffice Wave" and Kiosk.ws)

My Summary is as follows: Set up a website, advertise, diversify

your

products, diversify your advertising, get tons of traffic, enjoy

a

recurring steady stream of revenue from 10 sources, develop

partnerships / affiliates and be profitable.

"33 Days to Online Profits" is written by Yanik Silver and Jim

Edwards.

The authors are professional writers. They write books, give

seminars, teach writers how to write novels, press releases,

sales letters both online and offline. The authors of this book

really wants

you to create your own unique online business.

I really enjoyed this book. Why? Because you ought to know as

much as

you can before you start your online business.

The beginning of the book starts with homework. (Homework, I

wasn't prepared for that. I use to think the

best way was just to jump right in and see what happens. Sad but

true.)

Writing down domain names, researching keywords and then

researching

other people's websites. One part I especially liked were the

valueable

tips on how to get the best search engine results.

This book is very popular. When I typed in a search today for

"33 days to Online Profits" there were 1.25 million

sites talking about this book. If you wanted to become a

reseller for this book, buy it directly from the author's web

page.

Also, he will keep you in the loop of what he is currently

working on

and helpful tips and tricks to make you more profitable. His

website and ebook are well organized and I was impressed.

> My first web page was a Sales Pitch Page for this book.

It was appealing but does not sell by itself. The good news was

my first web

page was up and running within 2 days. You really need to use

this ebook

to complement your own ideas for marketing whatever you decide

to sell online.

Now reading a 249 page manual may seem rough; but, it is broken

into

daily sections with a summary of each day's activities. One of

the best

things about the book is that it takes you through every step of

creating your home business. At each step, it gives several

companies websites that you might

use to set-up domain, web hosting, advertising, tracking,

autoresponders, popups, keyword research, partnerships,

affiliate programs and many other tools. (I love to read and

these guys gave me the opportunity to read and read and

read.)

Best Quote from the Book:

"Many people don't realize how important good ad copy is

to their success.... and that's why they end up closing their

doors and

blaming the economy of making up some other lame excuse.

Let me tell you, once you master this skill you can literally

write your own ticket."

Set up a payment processor to collect your payments.

Customize the web page and thank you page so that

when someone buys from you they are directed immediately

to the member's area are given the user id and password

needed to access the members area.

The sales wil come, so don't blow all your money on

In a nut shell, that is the 6 by 6 program.

like submitting your domain name and signing up with a

web hosting company.

quickly, you are on your way to achieving your long term goals.
